Celle Ligure is a village that we can certainly define as "child-friendly" and it’s an ideal holiday destination for families: it is in fact possible to find many spaces for playing, gardens and parks.

The play areas are all located away from traffic to receive children in total tranquility and safety and are equipped with tables where they can have a snack.

There are many gardens in the Celle Centro area: those inside the school complex in via Colla, the gardens in via Biestri and the Mezzano gardens in Via Poggi that have been reniewed in 2023 with Unicef Baby Pit Stop for nursing and feeding your baby.

The beautiful Bottini Pinewood is equipped with comfortable benches with breathtaking views, a picnic area, nice and colorful games for children, barrier-free toilets and refreshing fountains.

The Bottini pine forest can be reached thanks to a cableway that can be used all year round at different times:

from 1st June to 30th June: 8.30am-11.00pm
from 1 July to 31 August: 8.30-24.00
from 1st September to 30th September: 8.30-23.00
from 1st October to 31st May: 8.30-19.30

The panoramic lift is free and allows the simultaneous transport of 14 people. Children under 12 must be accompanied.

In the Piani area, in via De Amicis, to the delight of the little ones, a new playground (in the former minigolf area) was created with lots of games and also a social-recreational area with road park.

The playground that was already present in Via Genova has been renovated and divided into two spaces: one with the equipment for practicing "calisthenics" and training in the open air and the other with games for children.

Outdoor fun is also guaranteed in the hills and in the green hamlets. In the locality of Cassisi, next to the Saints Giacomo and Filippo Church, there is a play area for children, as well as in the locality of Pecorile near the San Isidoro Chapel. The Sanda hamlet offers children two playgrounds: one in the area where the schools were located in the past, the other in via Gameragna. There is also a play area in Natta, near the car parking.

In 2026, the 26th edition of NaviCelle is celebrated: it is an exhibition dedicated to children with cultural and recreational activities.

The review begins in June and continues during the months of July and August with further entertainment and leisure proposals, shows for children, music, workshops, environmental initiatives.

All activities and shows are for free, since they are organised by the administration in order to let all children participate.

SAILING SCHOOL

The Celle Nautical Club - Amateur Sports Association, Lungomare Crocetta, organizes sailing courses for children and teenagers.

Children aged 6 to 12 can try the experience of sailing through a trial lesson: the excursion is preceded by a brief explanation on land; the boat trip is carried out with the instructor on board. It lasts about 1 hour and it’s carried out according to the instructor's availability.

SUMMER CAMPS IN THE MIDDLE OF NATURE

La Mimosa Equestrian Center, Via Bolano 14, organizes summer camps with riding lessons, pool activities, games and equestrian workshops.

With the Summer camp educational service, the Municipal Administration intends to offer children and their families important support for family life, ensuring a welcome space in the summer, in the absence of school activities.

The service is intended for children from 6 to 13 years old. For children who have not yet turned 6, the application remains pending.

Normally a maximum of 30 children can be accommodated.

The Summer Camp will mainly take place in open spaces with reception at the premises of the MEZZALUNGA garden and Social center.

The service is articulated and organised on the basis of a detailed program that the team of educators has agreed with the municipal representatives, in particular by defining cycles of playful and laboratory activities, adhering to the indications regarding social distancing and all necessary precautions due to COVID restrictions.

Activities are also planned at the San Bastian free equipped beach which has a dedicated lifeguard service, an exclusive and shaded area and a shower service.

In case of any proven allergies and intolerances, families must present suitable medical certification.
